Windows 11: Generate AI Images in Word, PowerPoint, and Photos

On Windows 11, Microsoft Designer now allows you to create images via AI directly from Word, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Photos. With the Copilot tool, simply click on the icon in the application and describe the desired image.

Integration of AI in Word and PowerPoint

To use these new features, a Copilot Pro account is required, costing €22 per month. Users of the free version can access the AI through a dedicated interface. Microsoft also offers a one-month free trial.

New Features for Windows Insiders

Members of the Windows Insider program can also use Microsoft Designer in Microsoft Photos to edit images by removing unwanted elements, removing backgrounds, or automatically cropping. These features will soon be available in the Edge browser.

Microsoft Designer Mobile App

Microsoft Designer is also available on mobile for Android and iOS, offering the same functionalities as the desktop version. Microsoft thus strengthens its commitment to AI by integrating these tools across its entire ecosystem.
